Find Your Fit
Find the right resources, apps, & equipment to take the next step in your fitness journey.
To make the next step in your fitness journey less daunting with insights, tips, techniques, and solutions for all athletes—beginners and experts alike.
We avoid a one-size fits all approach. Everyone's unique, so fitness plans should be tailored to our lifestyles, goals, and health.
We support living a well-balanced life. We're all about building healthy habits for the long-term. And we believe our fitness goals and routines should evolve throughout the seasons of our lives.
Growth & Progress
Progress and growth are the ultimate goals of fitness. We strive to help people become better versions of themselves and to be proud of their individual success, whatever that means for them.
Healthy fitness isn't about achieving a certain appearance of number on the scale. It's about accepting everything we are and everything we want to be, right now - without shame or guilt.
Our Origin Story
GymBird was born from the idea that fitness belongs to everyone and one-size-fits-all approaches just don't work. Many fad diets and exercise programs are doomed from the start, because they're not centered on individual needs, lifestyle, and goals. There are as many paths to healthy living as people trying to get there. So, where should we start?
That was the question that led us here.
In 2018, our founders all decided to make a renewed commitment to fitness for different reasons. One wanted to lose weight and change their habits. Another was looking to gain strength and mobility on the heels of an injury. A third was hoping to mitigate stress and increase overall energy. Each one of them had different goals, specific challenges, and various circumstances that made their fitness journey unique. All of them wanted to find the right fit for them.
So, they did what everyone does when looking for solutions and advice: they went online. But after hours of searching and clicking through various gym websites—evaluating equipment, class offerings, and their preferred criteria (in this case: childcare, location, and cost)—none of them was any closer to taking that first step toward a happier, healthier life. Instead, they were left feeling confused, deflated, and frustrated.
You might be able to guess what happened next.
Our team of founders banded together to create personalized content, tools, and recommendations with GymBird. We believe everyone deserves to find their fit—that is, their healthiest, happiest self, and the way to get there.
At the end of the day, we're passionate about helping people build long-term habits that meaningfully improve their lives.
